Junior recruiter

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Recruiter to join our HR team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who is passionate about talent acquisition and eager to start a career in recruitment. The Junior Recruiter will support the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and assisting with various HR-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Candidate Sourcing:
    • Assist in identifying and sourcing potential candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and other channels.
    • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  2. Interview Coordination:
    • Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring timely and effective communication.
    • Prepare interview materials and provide necessary information to candidates and interviewers.
  3. Recruitment Administration:
    • Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Manage job postings on various platforms and track application statuses.
    • Assist in preparing recruitment reports and analytics as needed.
  4. Candidate Experience:
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and support throughout the recruitment process.
    • Answer candidate inquiries and provide information about the company and job roles.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Recruitment Manager and HR team to understand hiring needs and requirements.
    • Support the development of job descriptions and recruitment strategies.
  6. Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure adherence to recruitment policies and procedures.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate and confidential recruitment records and documentation.
  7. Process Improvement:
    • Contribute ideas for improving recruitment processes and enhancing candidate experience.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a recruitment or HR-related role is a plus but not required.
  • Strong interest in talent acquisition and human resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job boards is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
